Yoga in Daily Life Brisbane is now home to the city’s only Shiva temple. The temple was inaugurated at the Shivaratri celebration in February 2015, with His Holiness Vishwaguru Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandji and Acharaya Rajan Sharmaji in attendance.

Shiva devotees have wished for a temple in this part of the country for a long time. The temple is constructed from all natural materials, including a lingham and nandi bull handcarved in a beautiful black granite. The temple was built under his guidance Prakash, a devotee of Vishwaguruji from the Sunshine Coast. Set in the tranquil ashram garden, the temple radiates harmony, peace and divinity.
