Welcome to the Reading Hindu Temple Berkshire as part of the Reading Hindu Centre The temple is a centre for all Hindus from all walks of life. We are located on Whitley street which is a stone’s throw from the town centre and is easily accessible. The temple is located in a building which is over one hundred years old.

Reading Hindu Temple Berkshire Activities:
Reading Hindu Centre Sports Group (RHCSG) is a charity organisation in Reading Whitley area, working towards community youth development in the area via the medium of sports. The organisation was founded in 2003, offering just badminton sessions. Over the past few years, it has made significant progress both in terms of number of sports offered (cricket, table tennis and football are also supported now in addition to badminton) and also in terms of membership. It is bustling with activities now! Members from various parts of the community are participating in the sports sessions organised by RHCSG. The RHCSG indoor sports sessions are held in the spacious main hall of the Reading Hindu Centre building, which has flood lights and a suitable wooden floor. The following are the indoor sports session timings:Wednesdays: 7.30 PM – 10 PM (Men) Thursdays: 7.30 PM – 10 PM (Women) Saturdays: 4 PM – 8 PM (Men & Women)
The RHCSG Cricket team has been playing in the top division of the Border Sunday Cricket League since 2006. The team also participates in the annual Thames Valley Police Communities Cup cricket tournament organised by the Thames Valley Police in Reading. RHCSG now has its own website as well.
