Self Realization Fellowship New York City
The Self Realization Fellowship New York City is located at 217 East 28th Street, between Second and Third Avenues in Manhattan. This beautiful, four-story building was built as a New York City firehouse in 1893 – the year of our Guru’s birth, by the the noted architect, Napoleon LeBrun. It has been completely renovated to meet the needs of Self Realization Fellowship of New York City members living in the metropolitan area or visiting the New York area. Its more than 8,000 square feet of space include the main and overflow chapels, book room, Sunday school rooms, family room and office space, as well as room for social functions.
The following services are held each week at the New York City Center. All are welcome to attend. If you are new to meditation or just beginning, we suggest you attend the Thursday evening or Sunday morning services which are a good introduction to meditation and the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
