The Hindu Cultural Center (HCC) sits atop of 3.4 acre parcel in Stratford, Connecticut, a mandir that accomodates 200 people, class rooms, a community hall, kitchen, ample parking and much more.HCC was established to meet the cultural and religious needs of Hindus living in Southern CT. Our Goals are:
Organizes social, cultural and religious events celebrating Hindu festivals and holidays
Promotes awareness of the ‘Hindu way of life’ within ourselves and our neighbors
Develops religious and cultural education programs and discussion
Develops community service projects to promote the spirit of Giving In our neighboring communities

Where Indian Americans can meet to continue and celebrate the religious and cultural traditions of our heritage.

Where the youth can gather to listen, question and incorporate the ‘Hindu’ ideals in their daily life, and continue the legacy of our cultural heritage.

Where we can promote the wisdom of the Hindu philosophy, and intercultural appreciation and understanding to anyone that is interested.

The Hindu Cultural Center hopes to provide a variety of programs to enrich, cultivate and develop cross-cultural understanding and self-awareness.

The HCC is closer to its goal of being a central hub where social, cultural and religious activities can flourish and be woven into the diverse fabric of Southern Connecticut.
